This is the spot !!! You won't regret spending your money here. I have been to a few Jamaican restaurants in different states, and this spot is by far the best I ever had!!! If you have kids, one plate will feed two people they serve a lot of food.
Their food is top tier, best in class, authentic Jamaican cuisine. Got the curry goat and jerked chicken combo, and it hit every note for me, and was extremely filling. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff.
The food was delicious! My husband has always wanted to try oxtail and was so excited about it. He said it was awesome! The Mac & cheese, cabbage, and plantains were really good. They were the best plantains I've ever had. The staff was so friendly and attentive.
The best place to get food! I ordered the Jerk chicken, and it was very delicious. The owners are so kind and will treat you like family. I highly recommend going to The Jamaican Spot next time you're in town!
I met the owners of this restaurant while they were in the New Orleans area on business. They told me about their restaurant in Leesville, La. I made plans to visit and enjoy myself. The food, atmosphere and hospitality was exceptional. I Highly recommend the Jamaican Spot for some good Jamaican food!!!
The food is wonderful and exquisitely yumptious. I loved the oxtails, curry goat and meat pies. We always get the full sample platter.
Our first time eating here and it did not disappoint! We got the large sampler. It was enough to feed 4 people easily. We will most definitely be back. Don't expect to get the normal coke product here. Authentic Jamaica drinks to chose from sure changes up the experience.
I was passing through and stopped in. The service is great. The oxtail meal is the best I've ever had! I had a happy plate. (I ate ALL of my food) it is pricey but worth it. The beautiful woman behind the counter mentioned her husband was in the military. Thank you for your service sir!! 🙏 If you haven't tried their food, you're missing out!!
Very cool vibe at this Jamaican restaurant! It's clean, well decorated, good customer service, and serves delicious food. The jerk chicken, curry goat, oxtails, rice and peas all have an authentic taste from the island! I'll definitely dine here again if I'm in Leesville again.
My husband and I heard about this restaurant so we drove a little over an hour to try it. I was introduced to true authentic Jamaican food while living in Houston. This place was worth the drive! Mrs. V, the waitress was nice, friendly, very attentive, and great customer service. We will be going back. EVERYTHING was delicious. I don’t eat carrots but the carrots in the curry chicken were delicious. Even the plantain was good to say that I’ve tried it other places and didn’t like it. The price per person is only because we had the combination plates with different meats to try. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want good and delicious Jamaican food.
